Meet the Counselors
I hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling and have been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) since 2011. I’ve worked to help children, teens, and families heal from adverse life experiences since beginning my career as a counselor in 2008, and have been a clinical supervisor for over 10 years.
I have a special interest in working with parents, caregivers, and athletes become the best versions of themselves. As a parent and an athlete myself, I approach my work with a depth of both personal and professional experience. When it comes to the ups and downs of these roles in life, I truly get it and I absolutely love having the opportunity to navigate these parts of self with others.
I live in Charlottesville with my husband, three sons whom we lovingly refer to as our “birds”, and our precious dog, Clover. When I’m not listening or talking, I love to run and I’m continuously working on renovations to our family’s “nest”.
I’ve never met a wildflower that I didn’t think was beautiful, and I believe that every one of us is good inside.
Shannon Noe, LPC
I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Florida State University and have been working with youth and families since 2012. I work with youth as young as 12 through adulthood; helping clients navigate medical trauma, chronic illness, life transitions, anxiety, stress, and the everyday challenges that can sometimes feel too heavy to carry alone.
I have learned that life doesn't always unfold the way we expect. Those experiences have shaped my believe that therapy is about more than solving a problem; it’s about building a genuine connection where you feel safe enough to be yourself, process what you’re carrying, and look ahead to the future. My hope is that you’ll leave each session feeling a little lighter, more confident, and reminded that you don’t have to face life’s challenges on your own.
Hannah is supervised by Hannah Pocock, LCSW, (434) 248-7223.
